It is that time again!
May Student of the Month! We were honored to share the morning with our Student of the Month winners, their families and our amazing leaders in our school district!
Summit Hill JHS: Melanie Grimen. Melanie plays clarinet and is a band and Pit Band member. She loves social studies, and creative writing. She also is active at her church being a Vacation Bible Study leader and leading Sunday School classes. Melanie chose to donate our gift in her name to the Summit Hill Junior High School Band.
Hickory Creek Middle School – Sophie Kennedy. Sophie is also a musician sho participates in the orchestra in the morning before school and then spends her afternoons singing in the choir and participating in musicals. Her theater experience extends to Community Theater. Sophie is also active in Sunday School and Girl Scouts. Sophie loves helping others to be successful. She’s involved in many other activities, loves all Hickory Creek activities, and enjoys Social Studies the best. Sophie chose NAWS as her charity for our gift in her name.
Lincoln Way East High School: Kierstyn Jensen. By the beginning of her senior year Kierstyn already had 178 community service hours. Kierstyn also has been very active in the FBLA recently achieving a perfect score at the State’s FBLA Customer Service Competition. She will participate in the national competition in June. She plans to study marketing in college. Kierstyn chose the FBLA for our gift in her name.
