Many thanks to the Kentucky Cancer Program - West for all they do with providers to help make screenings accessible to Kentucky's women!

KCP Green River District is excited to partner with the Daviess County Health Center and the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital Mobile Mammography Unit today.

KCP and its partners coordinated a day to provide mammograms for health center patients who qualify for the Kentucky Women's Cancer Screening Program (KWCSP) and for insured patients.

We are eager to plan more KWCSP days with local health centers and the OHRH Mobile Mammography Unit.

Today we wish a Happy Retirement to our fearless leader Ellen Barnard. Ellen has been with KWCSP for more than a decade, much of that time as Program Manager. Through Ellen's steady leadership and innovation, the program has enjoyed impressive growth with more than 6,000 Kentucky women receiving screening services through KWCSP this year. Never one for sad goodbyes, perhaps it is best to honor her by saying congratulations on a fine career Ellen and may your next chapter be filled with happiness and laughter. Until we meet again soon.
