• Open to all poets, from beginning to advanced
• Guided nature walks
• Submit up to 3 poems to be discussed during the sessions.
• Retreat spots are limited, and registration is first come, first served.

Have you heard? The Kentucky Historical Society (KHS) acquired a few of Kentucky legend Col. Harland Sanders’ treasures! 🐔 At the recent public auction at Blackwood Hall in Shelbyville, KHS staff brought back a butcher block table, photographs, historic menus and more, with support from the KHS Foundation's Kentucky History Treasures Fund.

September is packed full of can’t-miss events: On the 18th, Jubilation! Ambassadors on a Sacred Journey, will open at the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage in Louisville. 🎶 Presented by The National Museum of African American Music, the immersive, 2,500-square-foot traveling exhibition celebrates the profound legacy of the Fisk Jubilee Singers and runs through Feb. 28, 2027. Make plans for this one!
