We are actively building our committee structure for 2026 and inviting members and supporters to help shape that work. Current committees include:
- Legislative
- Communications
- Finance
- Outreach

We are also preparing to launch additional committees, including Membership and Technology & Data, and are especially interested in hearing from folks with experience or interest in these areas.

You do not need prior experience to participate. We are looking for people willing to learn, collaborate, and help build LGBTQIA political power across Kentucky.

Republicans are trying to use rising healthcare costs as cover and that means transgender health care could be on the chopping block.

A new GOP health-care proposal would strip gender-affirming care of its protections: banning it from being considered an “essential health benefit,” barring it from Medicaid, and disallowing Health Savings Accounts from counting it as medically necessary. 

That means many trans and nonbinary people could lose access to care just when they might need it most.

It doesn’t matter whether premiums go up or how scary the math looks. These aren’t negotiations. These are human lives.

We call on Democrats (and every person with a conscience) to reject the premise that trans health is a bargaining chip.

🌈✊ Four people were arrested after restoring the rainbow colours to the Pulse Nightclub memorial crossing, a powerful symbol honoring the 49 lives lost in 2016. Instead of erasing pain, they reclaimed hope.

“You can’t erase us.”
