There are many ways that Collins Lane parents help and support this goal by volunteering, being room parents, participating in and supporting fund raising activities, and participating in our district's mentoring program. We encourage our volunteers to assist in instructional areas by reading to and working with individual students or small groups, by helping classes with projects, by sharing hobb
ies and talents. Volunteers assist in special projects – Field Day, musical productions and plays, and the yearly Student Art Show. They help teachers by running off copies of instructional materials, helping in the computer lab, assisting on Field Trips. Others help in the cafeteria or in the office with clerical tasks and greeting visitors. We thank all of you who are working to make Collins Lane a positive place for students to learn. We also encourage others to bring their time and talents to our school community.
