We have some exciting news!

We’ve been putting in a lot of work behind the scenes the last few months to get our non-profit status, and we have finally been approved! This will allow us to do many more things…apply for grants, accept donations more easily, fundraise, and hopefully eventually partner with other organizations to gain access to more food and resources to better serve our community.

With that being said, it also means another change…our name. We wanted this food pantry to represent not just Frankfort, but all the surrounding communities in Ross County. So we decided to make a new name for our pantry, one that describes the type of organization we want to be: Open Arms Food Pantry.

We are still the same organization we’ve been since the beginning, and our mission is still the same…providing healthy, nutritious, and sustaining food to those in need in our community. If anything, we hope that this change will be the beginning of even bigger things to come.

Congratulations to the Adena Local School District on the official ribbon cutting of the Warrior Wellness Center! This new facility is located at 169 W High Street in Frankfort and brings many exciting things to our community including medical offices, pharmacy, upgraded athletic facilities and community spaces.

The Village of Frankfort Municipal Office will be closed on Monday, September 7th. We will reopen for normal business hours on Wednesday, September 9th from 10:00AM-3:00PM.

Outside of office hours, payments can be made in the night deposit box located on the rear (alley side) of the building or online at allpaid.com with the location code A0020N.

To clarify, the Village of Frankfort does not have or maintain an “official” Facebook group. There are some groups created by residents, but our staff does not play any role in the admin of these groups nor do we monitor these groups for communication.

We do regularly post communication here on this page and we encourage residents to like and share with your fellow residents. If you have a question, the best way to communicate with the Village of Frankfort is to call our office at (740) 998-2896 during office hours: Monday, Wednesday & Friday 10:00AM-3:00PM. If you need to call outside of these hours, please leave a message and someone will return your call as soon as possible.

Heads up for residents of the village. Your polling location for the November 2026 election has changed to the Warrior Wellness Center located at 169 W High St.

The Ross County Board of Elections has moved voting for four Concord-area precincts to the Adena Warrior Wellness Center. See link below ⬇️
