Access Soup Kitchen & Men’s Shelter

We have two men moving into their own apartments this week and are helping them get situated. They are currently in need of the following household items:

• Couches
• Dining tables and chairs
• Beds and bed frames

If you have any of these items in good condition that you would be willing to donate, please let us know. Your generosity can make a huge difference as these men transition into stable housing. Thank you for supporting our community!

We are incredibly grateful for a generous donation of food service supplies from the Kentucky State Reformatory to our shelter. This donation includes much-needed items such as forks, cups, takeout containers, and other supplies that will help us continue serving our community.

A special thank you goes to the Franklin County Fiscal Court and the Franklin County Road Dept for providing storage space and assistance in housing these donations until they can be distributed and put to use. Community partnerships like these make a tremendous difference.

These supplies will not only benefit Access Soup Kitchen but will also help support the Franklin County Senior Citizens Center, allowing both organizations to stretch resources further and continue serving those who depend on us.

On behalf of the Access Soup Kitchen Board of Directors, thank you to everyone who helped make this donation possible. We are truly grateful for the support of our community.

We are in need of a temporary warehouse/storage space in Franklin County to help us store a very large amount of donations.

We are looking for approximately 600–800 square feet of warehouse space to store around 20 pallets of donated items. The space does not need to be climate controlled, but it does need:

- Ground-level or dock access
- Entrance large enough for pallet jack accessibility

If you or someone you know may be willing to donate or loan space, please call our shelter at 502-223-5179 and ask for our Director, Brian Pedigo. We have to find available space by next week or we lose out on the donation. These donations will not only benefit ACCESS but other local organizations too.
