The Delta Regional Authority just announced a partnership with the Department of War to host a wellness mission in Western Kentucky.

"Led by the DRA, Air National Guard, Green River Area Development District (GRADD) and City of Henderson, the 2026 Green River Area Wellness IRT Mission will provide basic medical, dental, optometry, hearing, and mental health services – at no cost – to residents of Henderson, Union, and Webster counties and nearby communities."

DLG Update

On May 18th, DLG Field Rep. Angie Cain attended the Ohio River Way National Water Trail Designation ribbon-cutting event in Covington on the riverfront. Angie was joined by paddlers on a 500-mile, 23- day canoe trip, Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati local officials and staff from the National Parks Service.

The Ohio River Way National Water Trail Designation attracts tourists to the natural beauties of the Commonwealth, creating opportunities to boost local economies. Keep up the great work!

Good News, KY! Team Kentucky highlighted the Menifee County Senior Center in Frenchburg, Kentucky, showcasing its impact on the local and surrounding communities. The Menifee County Senior Center and Regional Kitchen provides around 10,000 meals each month for the community and the surrounding communities of the Gateway Region Area Development District. The Senior Center also hosts fun activities for seniors, like bingo and pool.

The community engagement the Menifee County Senior Center brings to local seniors is commendable! Great things are happening in this community.
