Ohio's spring burn ban has taken effect. Please be mindful of open burning after these hours. With the rapidly changing weather conditions of spring, the smallest controlled fire can become a problem quickly.

We are conducting training operations in the 8200 block of state rt 28. Artificial smoke will be seen coming from an acquired structure slated for demolition. There is no emergency.

Caution: Today, Saturday, October 18, there is an elevated wildfire risk. Dry, warm conditions with high winds will quickly increase local fire risk. Reminder that the statewide burn ban is in effect for October and November daily from 6AM - 6PM. Rain is expected overnight into Sunday and that will end the current danger period.

Today is the day!!! We look forward to seeing everyone enjoy this event every year. The weather will be great. (Come prepared to get wet if you choose). We have a lot of folks committed to bringing equipment, trucks, heavy wreckers, and specialized vehicles of all kinds. Hotdogs, chips, water, ice cream truck for the kids, giveaway raffles (bikes, scooters, and whatever else our exhibitors graciously offer). Drawings to be held at 3:30pm. We will see you in the park. 1:00

Notice to Public…
This evening, July 30, commencing at 7pm, Concord and Deerfield Township Volunteer Fire departments will be conducting wildland and controlled burn training off road in the 9000 block of Westfall Road. Living in the age of “anything” could happen and verified by last year’s drought induced wildfires in crops and other land, we felt it best to get some proactive, hands on training. A local farmer provided an ideal opportunity to go hands on in a controlled environment. This provides firefighters to observe behavior, test different methods, and assess results. Please avoid the area so our teams may function. Thank you!
