Following the death of his brother "Benny" in Vietnam, Dan felt compelled to contribute his bit toward the service of our country and joined the Marines on August 28th, 1972, during the last few years of the Vietnam era. Dan spent 4 years in the Marines, serving at Camp Pendleton, California in the First Marine Division, First Battalion, First Shore Party.
Dan is the brother of Mario, CVRA Member and friend of the PGR. Dan's loved ones have asked us to honor his service during his visitation, funeral, and burial, with honors accorded.
This is one of two missions on the 27th. Please try to attend one of them so our heroes will not be forgotten.
