The boil water advisory has been lifted for all customers from 1485 Lewis Ferry to 2100 Lewis Ferry, as of 8:30 am 2/25/26.

Due to a water line break customers from 1485 Lewis Ferry to 2100 Lewis Ferry are under a boil water advisory.

Once water is restored you will have to boil water that is used for drinking or cooking for 3 full minutes.

You will be contacted via phone call when the boil water advisory is lifted.

The Peaks Mill Water District will be closed Monday January 26. We plan to be open on Tuesday January 27.

Great news - I have just heard from the guys. The tank is slowly filling up and everyone should be back in water very soon. Thank you for your patience - it has been a very long day for our guys and they have worked hard to get water service back to everyone that has been without as fast as possible. Please note you pressure may be low for awhile.

Due to a large water line break in the Herman Smither area several of our customers on Owenton Rd, Steele Branch Road, Herman Smither, US 127 N and Wright Road may be without water. If you are without water you are now under a Boil Water Advisory.
Once water is restored you will have to boil water that is used for drinking or cooking for 3 full minutes.
Customers will be contacted when the boil water advisory is lifted, and our website and page will be updated.

Several other customer may be experiencing low water pressure. When the water line break has been repaired you water pressure should get back to normal. You do not have to boil water if you have low water pressure.
