The Independent Association of Framingham State Alumni (IAFSA) engages Alumni, supports students and preserves Alumni House.

IAFSA Mission Statement:
A self-governing, non-profit organization established in 1874 by dedicated alumni, the Independent Association of Framingham State Alumni continues its tradition of service by receiving and administering funds that provide scholarship and benevolent assistance while maintaining Alumni House and collaborating with Framingham State University in pursuit of its mission. Goals

include:
Engaging alumni through volunteer opportunities, events and identifying ways to help current students. Supporting students through scholarships, no-interest loans, and the Fashion and Art Supply Center. The Center gives donated supplies to Fashion and Art students. Preserve the historic Alumni House which is the home of the organization. IAFSA holds the original archives of Framingham Normal School dating back to 1839. Alumni House provides space for meetings, retreats, and celebrations. The house is available to alumni, students, faculty of Framingham State, and the larger community.

The Alumni House has welcomed generations of Rams - now it needs a little care in return. We're replacing the roof, and your support, even one shingle, can help keep this home shining for years to come. Join our "Buy a Shingle" Fundraiser and help keep us dry as we take on this important project.

Our "Raise the Roof" campaign could use your support!
Our 100+ year old roof is patched and tired.
We need new shingles put on before the winter.
Please donate $50 to purchase and install a shingle! You will be listed as a new roof donor in the 2027 Echo.

IAFSA is excited to share that we’ve been able to repair the winter damages in the upstairs offices thanks to your generous support. Emmett the plasterer and Larkin Paint did a fantastic job. Here’s a peak with “before and after" shots. Please help us finish the repairs in the downstairs rooms this summer.

IAFSA was thrilled to support and attend Friday night's Fashion Department & Fashion Club Fashion Show. It was amazing to see how beautifully students used the materials donated through the Sewing Donation Center — creativity at its finest.
