Voting by Mail or Absentee? Here’s What You Need to Know

It’s too late to return your ballot by mail, but you can still make your voice count! Drop your completed ballot at one of the secure drop boxes located at:
- Memorial Building
- McAuliffe Library

Ballots must be received by 8:00 PM tomorrow when voting officially ends. At that time, both boxes will be closed.

Both locations have dedicated parking spots for voters. (The photos here show the parking and ballot box at the Memorial Building.)

Security matters:
- Both boxes are under 24‑hour video surveillance.
- Each box is equipped with a FIRESTOP fire suppression device. If triggered, it safely extinguishes any attempt at fire without harming the ballots inside.

Reminder: Completed ballots cannot be dropped off at polling locations on Election Day. So make sure your vote is counted and plan ahead and use the drop boxes before the deadline!

Framingham, it’s been one heck of a campaign. And with your help, we were able to speak with thousands of residents, connect with hundreds of community leaders, and continue to build a better city together. But the jobs not done. After you vote, we’d love for you to join us on Tuesday, November 4th at 7pm at the Elks to watch the results come in, and for a night of great food, great laughs, and celebrating all that we have made happen together. Thank you for all that you do, it’s been the honor of my lifetime to be your mayor. Let’s finish this job together!

Pablah recently won the US Small Business Administration’s Person of the Year award for Massachusetts. It’s people like her who make up the fabric of this community, and that make our city what it is. It’s businesses like Fresscafe that create a thriving local economy in the city. I’m proud to have her support and I look forward to maintaining active working partnerships with all small businesses in our community.

Often, it’s the residents themselves who help make a difference.

Recently, I met with residents of the Aaron Street neighborhood to discuss sidewalk and drainage issues. The meeting was arranged by Councilor Tracey Bryant, who also attended.

I believe in Framingham — in its residents, and in all we can accomplish together. Let’s make it happen together Framingham!

I met with some of our downtown leaders to discuss the relationship that they need with city hall to be able to serve our community and provide hundreds of good paying jobs in the city. Here’s what some of our downtown business leaders, who are crucial to the district, have to say.

“The key to a successful downtown is strong, committed relationships. We’re fortunate to have a Mayor who understands that a community’s vitality is only as strong as its local businesses. Having a leader who truly supports that vision is crucial — it’s how we continue to attract new businesses and how we continue to grow. Our downtown has already seen many improvements, with more to come.”

We had the privilege of joining the Framingham Housing Authority and Eversource to see their innovative geothermal system in action. It was great to visit resident units and witness the success of this pilot program firsthand.
