Every journey to looks a little different 🌟

Before she was helping lead our team as Chief of Staff, Marisa Collins had already been part of the Rodman for Kids story for decades.

Marisa began working for our founder, Don Rodman, 30 years ago, giving her a firsthand look at the impact of Rodman for Kids and the difference this work makes for young people and the organizations that serve them.

She officially joined the Rodman for Kids team in 2020! Today, she keeps our mission moving forward while carrying Don’s legacy with her.

At Rodman for Kids, so many of our staff have a connection to the organization that spans long before they officially joined the team. Join us as we celebrate our staff’s journey to Rodman for Kids!

Sometimes, the right space can give a young person the opportunity to open up in a way they never have before.

In this week’s episode of The Brighter Futures Podcast, Penny Austen of ThinkGive shares how one lesson on gratitude helped a student process a difficult loss, reflect on the memories she was grateful for, and feel safe enough to share her experience with others.

It’s a powerful example of what can happen when young people are given the tools - and the trusted spaces - to understand their emotions, connect with others, and feel supported.

What happens when you bring the Ride for Kids directly to the community? 🚲💙

Rodman for Kids Charity Partner, South Boston Neighborhood House, did just that, hosting its own Ollie Kids Bike Bash so the kids and families they serve could experience the fun, connection, and spirit of giving back that surrounds the Ride for Kids!

With 88 participants ages 1–16, the Bike Bash removed barriers to participation by bringing the experience right to South Boston – even providing bikes and helmets for families who needed them.

It’s a perfect example of how our Charity Partners take the opportunities available through Rodman for Kids and make them meaningful for their own communities.

Today, on , we’re celebrating the organizations that impact kids' lives every single day. 💙

At Rodman for Kids, we’re proud to partner with an incredible network of youth-focused nonprofits working to create brighter futures for kids across our communities.

Our Charity Partner Program is a year-round partnership designed to help organizations strengthen their work, expand their impact, and access the resources, connections, and opportunities they need to grow.

Each Charity Partner logo represents a unique mission, a dedicated team, and countless young people whose lives are impacted by their work. Together, we’re building stronger organizations and creating more opportunities for kids to dream, grow, and succeed.

Today, we celebrate our Charity Partners - and all of the nonprofits working every day to make our communities stronger. đź’«
