6/15 WALL STREET PARKING BAN

There will be no parking on Wall Street while Town of Foxborough DPW conducts work in the area.

Work is expected to conclude around 4p.

QUICK REMINDER: Pedestrian access to Revolution Way is for Foxborough Residents only.

You will need to show a Match Ticket and Proof of Residency to gain access.

This practice will be in place for all World Cup and other upcoming events this season.

IMPORTANT: Pedestrian access is ONLY authorized during match days. On non match days pedestrian traffic is restricted as Revolution Way is private property.

ALSO: This is NOT a drop off location. Vehicles will not be allowed on Cross Street. Use the FRONT lot of the public safety building and anyone getting dropped off can walk from there.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Dedham Police Department and the family and friends of Sgt. James Quigley. Rest easy, Sergeant. We have the watch. 💙

With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of active-duty Sergeant James Quigley. Jim left us earlier today after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Throughout his battle, Jim continued to serve our community with commitment and selflessness.

Jim joined the Dedham Police Department on August 31, 2015. After 2+ years assigned to uniformed patrol, Jim’s demonstrated skills earned him the opportunity to serve as a detective. Jim spent several years conducting drawn out investigations which require advanced training and knowledge. On August 22, 2022, Jim was promoted to Police Sergeant where he represented the Dedham Police Department at the Dedham District Court. In this role, Jim worked with the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office and court personnel as cases made their way through the court system. He proudly served as an advocate for domestic violence victims while leading the effort to develop a program for law enforcement officers to support victims.

Jim was a man of great character, integrity and intelligence. As a quiet leader within the Dedham Police Department, he led through the quality of his work and integrity. Jim was proud to serve our community and of his family’s past police service. Even more so, Jim was immeasurably proud of and devoted to his family. We ask you to remember Jim’s family at this incredibly difficult time.

Rest in Peace, Sergeant James Quigley.

As we know, Foxborough typically has low speed freight trains cutting through.

Now with the updated railroad crossings and train station we are now going to have a large amount of commuter trains coming through town especially during busy event days.

These trains often travel at a higher speed than freight trains, and come by at a more regular basis.

HAITI VS. SCOTLAND ⚽

THE TIME HAS COME! Our first World Cup match is upon us this Saturday.

This historic event is expected to bring a large number of visitors to Foxborough, many of whom will be visiting our town for the very first time.

Just like any major stadium event, please expect traffic delays throughout town. Our standard major-event road closures and detours will be in effect (including North Street, Beach Street, and Baker Street).

There will also be a high volume of train traffic coming through town, so please expect delays at most railroad crossings.

Lots open at 5p, and the gates open
shortly after at 6p.

Important items to note:
- Pre-Paid Reservations Only: All stadium-operated spectator parking must be reserved in advance. There will be no drive-up parking sales at the stadium lots.

- Ticket Requirement: Security personnel will check for a valid match ticket and matching email confirmation prior to allowing vehicles entry into the stadium lots. Non-ticket holders will be turned away.

- Capacity Reductions: Official on-site spectator parking has been scaled down for this event.

- To maintain a secure perimeter and prevent gridlock, access to the immediate vicinity of Boston Stadium (Gillette Stadium) is strictly restricted to ticket holders Non-ticket holders will be turned away from all parking gates and pedestrian access points.

- No Private Drop-offs: Drop-offs or pick-ups by private vehicles are completely prohibited anywhere on or around the stadium property. The only drop-off/pick-up accommodations are for restricted rideshare services in Lot 16, where passengers must immediately show a match ticket upon exiting the vehicle.
