April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and we are excited to invite you to register for the Norfolk Advocates for Children (NAC) 5K & Superhero Dash to raise awareness in support of child abuse prevention.

KIDS Superhero Dash
The kids superhero dash is FREE!! The dash will kick off our event at 9:00 AM. COSTUMES ARE ENCOURAGED!

NAC 5K
A professionally timed, flat 5K (3.1 mile) run through beautiful Foxborough. Prizes awarded to the top two finalist. The race will step off at the conclusion of the KIDS Superhero Dash at 12 Payson Rd. We encourage all runners and walkers to join in the fun and wear a costume too!

Awesome After Party!
Following the race, please join us at the NAC for some fun for everyone. There’ll be music, crafts, a firetruck visit, and more!

Teens often think some behaviors, like teasing and name-calling, are a “normal” part of a relationship. However, these behaviors can become and develop into serious forms of violence. Many do not report unhealthy behaviors because they are afraid to tell family and friends. Give teens a safe space to talk about their abuse.

Kristin Maloney and Julianne Silva of the Hockomock Area YMCA delivered painted rocks to the Norfolk Advocates for Children Garden of Hope from 14 YMCA sites! The YMCA joined us in spreading awareness during Child Abuse Prevention Month and helped us distribute painting kits to children and families throughout our community.
