Beginning June 9, 2026, in accordance with Foxborough’s Water Management Act Permit and the Level 2 Drought Declaration issued by Secretary of Energy and Environmental Affairs Rebecca Tepper, the following outdoor watering restrictions are in effect:

• Outside watering using irrigation systems is prohibited.
• Handheld hose watering is permitted daily before 9:00 am and after 5:00 p.m.

This is a mandatory restriction that is connected to the Massachusetts Drought Status and does not have a direct connection to the Town's ability to produce water. We appreciate residents’ cooperation in helping conserve water during current drought conditions.

Heads up, Foxborough drivers: MassDOT will close the Route 140 southbound ramp to I-95 southbound overnight from Tuesday, May 19 through Thursday, May 21.

The closure will take place from 8 PM to 5 AM each night. Please plan ahead, follow posted detours, and allow extra time if you’ll be traveling through the area.
