Hello again friends, unfortunately today we have to give the win to Mother Nature and postpone the fireworks show until July 11th.

Per the professional fireworks company putting on the show it is due to the weather and projected forecast for the evening.

The parade has been cancelled for this year, but the events with the Grand Marshal and Patriot of the Year will take place at the large community park on the 11th as well.

We know it’s not ideal but safety is always our #1 priority!

We hope you had a wonderful Independence Day and as always…. stay safe and have a great day.

Good evening friends!

Well it’s that fantastic time of year again when the weather is heating up and so is the competition, learning and fun in Fowlerville.

Running June 22nd through June 25th is our Fire and Police Youth Academy.

Every summer FAFD along with Fowlerville PD invite kids from all over the community to partake in training, medical education, leadership excersises and amongst other things…we get to play with the FIRE TRUCKS!!!

So if your kid has a knack for problem solving on the fly, putting other’s needs above their own, and just wanting to make the world and community a better place for all. Then swing into the Police Department or send an email to the address listed below for a sign up sheet to get them registered for academy.

And as always…stay safe and have a great night!
