Fowlerville Police Department Hi.

⚠️ POWER & PHONE OUTAGE ⚠️

The Fowlerville Police Department is currently experiencing a power outage, and our phone lines are also down.

If you need immediate officer assistance, please call 911 or the Livingston County Central Dispatch non-emergency line at 517-546-9111.

At this time, we do not have an estimated time for when power or phone service will be restored.

We will provide an update once services are back up and running. Thank you for your patience!

Yesterday, Chief Tyler and Village Manager Kathy had the opportunity to step away from the office and give back to the community by participating in the Livingston County United Way’s Day of Caring! 💙

The Day of Caring brings volunteers from across Livingston County together to lend a helping hand wherever it’s needed most. We are proud to have been part of a day dedicated to teamwork, service, and making a positive impact in our community.

A big thank you to the Livingston County United Way for organizing another great event and to all of the volunteers who rolled up their sleeves to make a difference. It’s always a great day when neighbors come together to help neighbors!

🚔 FOWLERVILLE PD BOLO 🚔

Be On the Lookout… for the owner of this cooler! 🧊

Officer Fairbotham found this cooler on the side of the road near the fairgrounds. While it appears to have escaped on its own, we’re fairly certain someone is missing it.

If this cooler belongs to you, give the Fowlerville Police Department a call or stop by. Just be ready to describe it and tell us what’s inside so we can make sure it goes back to the right owner.

Let’s get this cooler back where it belongs before it starts trying to claim residency in the Village. 😄

💙🖤Officer Pappas may have found his new partner…🖤💙

This little duck was as sweet as could be and didn’t seem to mind posing for a quick photo before heading back on its way.

We think this might be the most cooperative “subject” we’ve dealt with all week. No waddling away, no attitude, and not a single complaint.🦆😂

This little duck was trapped with no way out, but thank you Officer Pappas, he is out swimming happily and staying cool. Stay safe out there, little buddy! 💙

⛽ Public Service Announcement: Check the Pump Before You Fuel! ⛽

We want to make our community aware of a fuel pump scam that was recently discovered at a local gas station.

Someone drilled a small hole into the fuel pump’s nozzle holder and inserted a screw. This prevents the safety latch from recognizing that the nozzle has been returned. As a result, when the next customer selects a grade of fuel and begins pumping, the fuel may actually be charged to the previous customer’s transaction. The suspect can then return, remove the screw, and receive free fuel at someone else’s expense.

Before fueling, take a quick look at the pump. If you notice anything unusual—such as a screw, hole, or signs that the nozzle holder has been tampered with—do not use that pump. Notify the gas station attendant immediately and consider using a different pump.

A few extra seconds of awareness can help protect both you and your neighbors.

🌡️ Today’s Forecast: Hot… with a 100% chance of everyone saying, “It’s not the heat, it’s the humidity.”

If you’re heading out today, do yourself (and us) a favor:
💧 Drink plenty of water.
🧢 Wear light-colored clothing.
🌳 Take breaks in the shade or air conditioning.
🐾 Don’t forget your pets—they need fresh water and a cool place too!

We’d also like to remind everyone that today is not the day to find out if your car’s air conditioning “still kinda works.” 😅

Stay cool, check on your neighbors, and take it easy if you’re spending time outdoors.

Have a safe and cool Tuesday, Fowlerville! ☀️🚔

🎯 A Huge Thank You to Ray Ray! 🎯

We are incredibly excited to show off our brand-new custom Fowlerville Police Department co****le boards!

A huge shoutout and heartfelt THANK YOU to Ray Ray for taking the time to design and build these amazing boards for us. The craftsmanship, attention to detail, and pride that went into making them truly show. They turned out better than we could have imagined!

These boards will be making appearances at many of our upcoming community events, giving us another fun way to connect with everyone we serve. We can’t wait to break them in and challenge some of our community members to a game!

Please join us in thanking Ray Ray for the generosity, talent, and support of the Fowlerville Police Department. We are incredibly grateful! 💙🖤

Now the only question is… who thinks they can beat the officers in a game of co****le? 🌽🏅😄

🚲⚡ Let’s Talk E-Bikes, E-Scooters & Electric Rides! ⚡🛴

We’ve been getting quite a few questions about the rules for e-bikes, e-scooters, and other electric rideables, so we wanted to share a few important reminders!

✅ In general, e-bikes are treated much like regular bicycles, which means riders must obey all traffic laws, including:
🚦 Stopping at stop signs and traffic signals
🚸 Yielding to pedestrians
🚲 Riding responsibly and following the rules of the road

👨‍👩‍👧 Parents, if your children ride e-bikes or electric scooters, please take a few minutes to review these rules with them. A little education goes a long way in keeping everyone safe!

📍 Fowlerville Reminder: The Village has a local ordinance prohibiting the riding of bicycles, e-bikes, scooters, skateboards, and other electric rideables on the sidewalks in the 100 block of Downtown Fowlerville. If you’re traveling through this area, please dismount and walk (push) your bike, scooter, or other rideable until you are past the restricted area.

These rules help keep our downtown sidewalks safe for pedestrians, businesses, and visitors.

Let’s all do our part to keep Fowlerville safe and enjoyable for everyone. Ride smart, be courteous, and if you have any questions, we’re always happy to help! 🚔💙
