We need to continue helping our community!
“We Need People, Not Just Donations”
The future of the Fowler Theatre is uncertain.
We want to be transparent with our community: without immediate support in the form of people, we will be forced to close as early as July 31.
We are incredibly grateful for every donation we receive. Truly. When this community shows up financially, it means everything. But the reality is this:
We cannot operate on donations alone.
We need people in the building—in the seats, on the board, leading, and volunteering—to keep the doors open.
Here’s what we urgently need to continue operating:
7 Board Members
12 Lead Volunteers
50 Volunteers
This isn’t about signing up once and never returning. We need people who can commit to showing up consistently, about 1–2 times per month. Reliability matters just as much as willingness.
You do not have to be from Benton County to get involved. We would like to see just as many new faces in our community.
Important deadlines:
Apply to be a Board Member by May 31
Interviews (if selected) will take place June 9 at 6 PM
Apply to be a Volunteer or Lead Volunteer by July 1
If you’ve ever said, “I love that place,” or “I’d hate to see it go,” then this is the moment where that feeling needs to turn into action.
Because right now, the truth is simple: Without people, there is no theatre.
