🪄 No, it is NOT magic, just hard work underway to replace four ramadas around Fountain Park. 👏

Next week, we begin replacing four of the ramadas, removing the aging infrastructure and installing new, durable structures that enhance the spaces around the park. 🌳

This effort addresses several aging structures at Fountain Park that are currently deteriorating, including failing support beams, masonry columns, and roof systems.

The new ramadas are durable, long-lasting improvements. We look forward to beginning construction and will continue to share updates as the project progresses. All ramadas at Fountain Park are being replaced, with the exception of the one near the splash pad. ✨

Pardon our paws at the park! 🐾

Starting Monday, June 1, Desert Vista Dog Park will temporarily *close* for the month of June while we make exciting improvements for both pups and their humans.

Work includes upgrades to the splash pad drainage system, w**d removal, leveling areas beneath the ramadas, and other park enhancements to help improve the overall experience at the park.

We know closures are never ideal, so we intentionally scheduled the work during the hottest month of the year to minimize impacts to residents and their four-legged friends.

We appreciate your patience while we spruce things up, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back to an even better Desert Vista Dog Park soon! 🦴☀️

🔥 Let’s talk fire prevention

Today we are focusing on defensible space around your property. Creating defensible space around your home can help slow the spread of fire. Clear dead vegetation, trim trees, and keep at least 30 feet around your home maintained.

Even a seemingly small amount of effort matters, as a little prep now can make a big difference later. 🚒🌵
