7i21 Scientists are looking at plant and animal cell slides under the microscopes today. Tomorrow they will be creating slides to look at their own cheek cells and water samples from a pond to look for organisms in the water.

The first week of school had lots of activities worked into the process of starting new learning experiences. Magnifying various creatures, paper airplanes in the wind, and lively debate in Claim-Evidence-Reasoning scenarios were part of week 1 in Science classes.
