On this solemn day, Boggy Creek Fire Department honors and remembers September 11, 2001—a day that forever changed our nation and the lives of so many. We remember the 2,977 innocent lives lost, the firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, and countless heroes who ran toward danger while others ran away, and the families who continue to carry their loss. As firefighters, we hold a special place in our hearts for the brothers and sisters who made the ultimate sacrifice that day. Their courage, selflessness, and service will never be forgotten. From Boggy Creek Fire Department, we remember, we honor, and we will always carry their memory with us. 🇺🇸🚒 Never Forget.

Today, we recognize and honor the men and women who volunteer their time, energy, and sometimes even their own safety to protect their neighbors and communities.

Volunteer firefighters answer the call at all hours—leaving their families, jobs, and everyday lives behind to respond when someone needs help. They train, maintain equipment, fight fires, respond to accidents, assist during emergencies, and serve their communities without expecting anything in return.
