Last night, proactive police work by our night shift lead to multiple arrests and the recovery of fraudulent documents and narcotics.

During a proactive traffic stop, FCPD officers contacted two subjects who initially provided false names. Further investigation revealed that one subject had an outstanding felony warrant, while the second subject had five outstanding warrants.

A subsequent search of the vehicle led to the discovery of fake license plates, fraudulent identification cards, credit cards belonging to other individuals, suspected narcotics, and drug paraphernalia.

Both subjects were arrested and booked on multiple charges. This incident highlights the importance of proactive patrol efforts and the role they play in identifying wanted individuals and disrupting criminal activity within our community.

In collaboration with the design firm HED Architects and construction by Rodan Builders, students at Bowditch now have 59,027 square feet of brand-new, daylight-filled buildings. This includes 26 classrooms, 6 state-of-the-art science labs, a black box drama room, a full gymnasium and locker rooms, a new library, a Counseling and Wellness Center, a staff lounge, and vibrant outdoor quads and gathering spaces. With more updates to come, this is truly ground breaking to support future generations of Buccaneers!

For some of our own staff who were Alumni, it was great to be part of a special day to celebrate the students, staff, and community of Bowditch Middle School! Congratulations 🎊🎉

Foster City Elementary School recently held its Founder’s Day ceremony, where John, a dedicated crossing guard, was proudly recognized with a well-deserved Honorary Service Award for his commitment to traffic safety and helping children (and adults) cross the street. 🛑✋🏃🏻‍♂️💨

Here at the FCPD, monitoring traffic during school hours is one of our top priorities. Our officers do more than enforce speed limits. They provide a visible layer of protection that promotes safer driving, helps prevent accidents, and keeps traffic flowing smoothly, making all the difference in keeping children safe.
