A couple quick takedown reminders:

2. If your lights are wet at takedown, our guys will leave them with the lid off. Please let them FULLY dry for 24-48 hours before storing them with the lid on.

Hey CCL Customers,

We wanted to say thank you for another successful year that we are incredibly grateful for. Because of you, we just had our 18th straight season of growth. You've allowed us to give more people work over the holidays than we ever have before. We sincerely thank you!

Hey Everyone,

Happy New Year from our family to yours! We hope 2026 gets off to a great start!

The schedule for light removal is now up on our website, our page, and there is a direct LINK below. Please follow our page and save this email address to your contacts list so you are always up to date. We have made the process very simple and hassle-free for you. Please read the instructions below:

1. Go to our schedule and find your removal date by NEIGHBORHOOD, ZIP CODE, or CITY. (You can use CTRL + F to search) Leave your tote on the front porch for us THE DAY BEFORE your date. While we try to give you a specific date, please realize we try to get out early, but also may need up to 48 hours of a grace window since January brings us a little less predictable weather.
*If you would like your lights to stop coming on before your removal date, simply unplug your timer or switch it to "OFF", or turn off the switch that controls your eave sockets.
**If you are a new customer wondering about tote size, a 27 or 40 gallon one like THIS is perfect for most homes. Home Depot usually puts them on sale this time of year also. If your home has a lot of ground lights or wrapped trees, you may need two totes.
2. We will wrap, zip-tie, label and box your lights and place them back on your patio/porch. Wreaths and garland will not be placed in your tote. You should store them in a wreath bag or even in a drawstring trash bag.
3. If your lights are wet when we take them down, please allow them to dry with the top off of your tote for at least 48 hours before storing. This is very important to help your lights last as long as possible.
4. Store them with the lid on in a dry and (somewhat) temperature controlled environment like your garage, attic, or a closet. Please DO NOT store them in an outdoor shed.
5. You will hear from us next October via email and social media. At that time, we will send you instructions and a schedule for the 2026 season. That is the time to let us know if you would like to add anything, change colors, update bulbs, etc.
6. We now offer Jellyfish permanent lighting! We have already changed 10 customers over from seasonal Christmas lights to year round Jellyfish lights. If you would like information or to schedule a visit and a quote from me, please let me know. We offer existing customers 10% off and will give another 10% for anyone who books before March 31st.

Hey CCL Family, a few quick things:

1. We are excited for one of our Crew Leaders, TJ and his wife had a baby just a little early this past week! Everyone is doing great. This has us about a day behind schedule but we will work really hard this week to get caught back up. Please give us about 24-48 hours grace on your original install date.

2. Please be sure you trim your trees back and remove any flags that come close to your lights. With the recent winds, many lights are being pulled down be swaying trees and waving flags. We are committed to fixing things for you at no charge if it is our fault, our product, or just wind. We will have to charge a trip fee for lights pulled down by things in your control.

3. If your install was prior to Nov. 1, your timer was set to OFF. Simply turn it to Dusk/Dawn when you are ready to start using them.

Hey CCL Family and Friends,

Even though it is 90 degrees today, Christmas light season is right around the corner! Our schedule is ready and I am attaching a link to it along with some instructions and everything you need to know to be ready. Please see below and feel free to call or email me if you have any questions or concerns.

1. SCHEDULE: The 2025 SCHEDULE LINK is below. Rather than taking a screenshot, please save the link. It will update by the minute as changes are made. It is available on our WEBSITE as well. We try to keep a very aggressive schedule, but we are always subject to weather. We ask for your grace and understanding if changes have to be made. Our goal is to be ahead of schedule and we will do our best to achieve it.

**To find your name on the schedule, open the link and simply press CONTROL + F to open a search bar and enter your name to find your scheduled date. You DO NOT have to sign up for a date as we make the schedule based on geographical location.

2. RETURNING CUSTOMERS: simply leave your lights out for us the morning you are scheduled. You will get a reminder text and/or email from us the night before. You DO NOT have to be home that day.
NEW CUSTOMERS: once I have your color(s) choice, you don't need to do anything or be home for installation. Just see #3 below.

3. PREPARATION: This is a great time to check your GFCI plugs on your front patio or in your eaves and be sure they work. Turn your eave plug switched to ON.
**This is also a great time to get your shrubs and trees near your house trimmed back. Swaying, untrimmed crepe myrtles are the #1 cause of lights being pulled off the house.

4. PAYMENT OPTIONS: You will receive an invoice via email near your date of service and all payment options will be listed. You can leave a check or cash for us, pay with ACH or a card online, or use Venmo, or Zelle.

5. REFERRALS: We always love referrals and pay $50 for each new customer we get from you with NO LIMITS. Feel free to tell your friends to submit a QUOTE REQUEST on our website and include your name in "How did you hear about us?"

Hey CCL Family,

We have some exciting news to share with you!
Since many of you inquired about it, we went and got training to become Jellyfish Authorized Dealers! We now offer permanent lighting along with our traditional Christmas lights. I installed them on my own house and have since had multiple neighbors asking about them. I've already had the house green and white for the Dallas Stars games, I've tried out the presets for our favorite NFL, NHL, NBA, and MLB teams, I went back to my roots with a Mardi Gras scene, and I now use them for nightly accent lighting. While this year-round product is more costly than our temporary lights, you will get significantly more use out of them.

The Jellyfish permanent lighting allows you to get year-round use out of your lighting system. Use it to celebrate things like:
New Years Eve, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Mardi Gras, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other special events like birthdays, anniversaries, and parties. You can also use them to show support for your favorite pro and college sports teams. (You can even link to your smart home system to have them light up when your favorite sports team scores!) You can also use them for your nightly accent lighting. The app is amazing and allows you to choose from hundreds of presets or to design an infinite number of programs on your own. There are Facebook groups for Jellyfish owners where ideas and programs are shared.

The Jellyfish installation is fully customized and designed to be durable and discreet.
The lights are inserted into tracks that fit snugly and are attached to the house. There are 28 colors of tracks that are the same colors that almost all gutters come in, so they match perfectly! Even the screws used to attach the tracks are painted the same color. There are no visible wires and the lights are perfectly spaced and aligned. The dedicated power/data box is installed in a location of your choice considering optimum power and network access.

The Jellyfish product is extremely high quality!
The Mark5 track light features a 4-wire LED system designed to receive four separate signals from the controller for enhanced reliability and color control. Heavy gauged wires and insulation are weather-proof on their own, but especially protected by the aluminum track.

Exciting news for our business and the CCL family! In a couple of weeks, we will be traveling to the Jellyfish Lighting HQ in Utah for training. We are now Jellyfish Lighting Authorized Dealers!

Many of you asked and now we will be able to meet your temporary and permanent lighting needs. We will be able do give quotes as of April 1st.
