The Tarrant County Young Democrats are a group of students, young professionals and young-at-heart Democrats. We work to spread the Democratic message to voters through fundraising, voter registration drives, block walking, community outreach events, volunteering, press events, and other activities. With tuition deregulation, the War in Iraq, the Patriot Act, the Texas school financing disaster an

🚨TONIGHT Join TCYD for our FLIP TARRANT fundraiser 🚨 As we head into the 2026 Elections, the stakes couldn’t be higher, and neither could the oppertunity in front of us to flip this County blue. That is why your support is crucial at this moment. Tonight, we are also honored to welcome our featured Speakers, Commissioner Simmons and Tiffany Burks, both of whom have put in tireless work in Tarrant County.

Engaging our community and a strong ground game is how we will continue to build power and win. Election after election, TCYD has been on the ground mobilizing voters, knocking on thousands of doors, and working to elect progressive candidates up and down the ballot.

Congratulations to our great Vice President, Emeri Callaway!

We couldn't be more excited to share with you our newest member of the TCDP staff: Emeri Callaway, Volunteer Coordinator!

Emeri already wears many hats in the community - SDEC member in CD24, precinct chair, board member of the Tarrant County Young Dems, and community activist, to name just a few! - and will now be spearheading this brand new position in the county party.

They will be tasked with maximizing our volunteer power by making sure all volunteers are plugged into the activities that they enjoy the most, and ensuring every TCDP committee and House District Coordinator has the volunteers they need to be successful.

Join TCYD for a blockwalk with Dr. Jared Williams. From serving as a City Councilman in Fort Worth to his work in the community all across Tarrant County, Dr. Jared Williams will be ready on Day 1 and is the Leader we need.

He is a fierce advocate for affordable housing, accessible healthcare, and working texans, and will fight for all of Tarrant County.
