Cape Leisure, the exclusive concessionaire for Ichetucknee Springs State Park, is gearing up for peak season and hiring up to 6 cooks for the General Store Grill and Riverside Grill food truck — with full-time and part-time opportunities available.

We’re looking for experienced cooks who can handle a fast-paced, short-order kitchen while enjoying one of Florida’s most beautiful natural settings.

Spend your days cooking great food, working with a strong team, and serving guests who are here to relax and enjoy the river. This is more than a kitchen job—it’s a chance to work somewhere truly different.

Pay: $15.50 – $18.00/hour

Weekend and holiday availability required. Must pass a pre-employment drug test, including ma*****na.

🚧 Exciting Park Upgrades Coming Soon! 🚧

9/8 - 9/21
North Launch is closed due to road construction inside the park. North Launch remains available via the nature trail located in the picnic area of the Headsprings. Dampier's Landing launch remains open for normal usage and visitation. Swimming at the Headspring and Blue Hole will still be available during this time. Guest with personal boats will need to cart their vessels down this trail.

9/22 - 10/13

The North Entrance will be closed to all activities, with the exception of reservations for North Launch boating. Reservations and daily arrangements may be made through the concessionaire during this timeframe. Dampier's Landing launch remains open for normal usage and visitation.

Here, it’s the way the water glides over limestone, cool and ancient. The way cypress knees rise like quiet sentinels. The quiet thrill of spotting a turtle sunbathing on a log, or the way the breeze stirs the Spanish moss like it's breathing with you.

Today, we pause to honor that connection. To feel thankful for the clear water, the fresh air, and the wild things that still thrive here.

If you’ve ever felt peace in a place like this—let that feeling guide you. Pick up that piece of litter. Snap that photo of a flower you’ve never seen before. Hug a tree (seriously, it helps). Support the parks that support you.
