This year was especially memorable for so many reasons. We made it through the rain, the chilly wind, and then finally…the sun came out. ☀️✨

It truly felt like the sunshine arrived to celebrate all those who put their lives on the line every single day to protect our freedom. 🇺🇸 We are beyond grateful for their service, sacrifice, and support from this incredible community. ❤️

A little behind-the-scenes thank you to all those in bright orange who put in hours of time and effort to make this year’s race a success. Not everyone is pictured because everyone was busy running around! Without all of these individuals, the race wouldn’t be possible. 🧡👏

The weather took a turn for the wet, but you know what they say in the military, "If it ain't rainin', we ain't trainin'!"
If you placed 1st-3rd in your age group and did not pick up a medal, you will be able to do so starting tomorrow, 5/21, until 5/30 at the Fleet Feet Coventry location. 5661 Coventry Ln, Fort Wayne, IN 46804.
Their staff will have a list of all winners and will be able to give you your medal. If you are unsure if you won a medal, you can go to the Race for the Warrior homepage at https://runsignup.com/Race/IN/FortWayne/RaceForTheWarrior and select the "Results" tab. You will be able to filter by race type and age to find your time, or you can directly search your name/bib number.
We would also like to take a moment to recognize the winner of our new COURSE RECORD, Drew Davis! Drew ran an exceptional time of 15:39.05!
