Federal Infrastructure Organization (federalinfrastructure.org) is a rapidly growing contract Government Services Organization (GSO) that provides infrastructure solutions to municipalities in the State of Indiana in compliance with all State and Federal regulatory requirements. The company offers infrastructure construction, project management, and financial solutions to city and county government agencies.
The Position: The representative will be responsible for selling infrastructure services to new accounts in order to achieve sales targets, developing new sales in these accounts by monitoring customer's existing projects for successful completion to stated goals, and proposing related and new services as they monitor accounts needs for future government services. The representative is expected to use his/her knowledge of the market and external contacts in municipalities in Indiana to increase sales. The representative will implement sales and marketing strategy and tactics to gain new customers and achieve sales and profit goals in designated geographic territory.
Qualifications and Specifications:
• A minimum of an undergraduate degree, with preference for a graduate degree, in a Government Services relevant to the business. Strong preference for at least three years of hands-on experience in public private partnership work in fields relevant to the company’s offerings.
• At least three years’ experience in a sales, marketing, or similar role in a Government Services Company, preferably in town/ city council elected capacity. Strong preference for a candidate with a successful track record of developing new business accounts and revenues in Government Services. Strong knowledge of Government Services sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
• Basic understanding of the motion and voting principles especially as it relates to in small government settings.
• Ability to operate in a small company environment that requires hands-on implementation, optimal use of limited resources and an ability to work closely with others in a team setting.
• Successful track record of interaction with customers in product development roles in government services companies. Able to close business and drive accelerated growth.
• Self-starter – individual needs to be proactive and persistent in achieving the company’s customer development, relations management, and business objectives.
• Ability to maintain client and sales management and tracking systems in an orderly manner.
Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities
• Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
• Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
• Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
• Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
• Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
• Continuously improve through feedback
• Develop a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues
• Meet individual sales targets
• Co-ordinate sales action plans
• Liaise with other company functions to ensure achievement of sales objectives

• Travel required for conferences, account visits, possibly up to 10%
Earnings:
Uncapped earning potential with generous commission strategy. The commission will be paid to the sales representative for new contracts when they close.
• Estimated Earnings:
o Year 1: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00
o Year 2: $145,000.00 - $150,000.00
o Year 3: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00
