Fort Wayne, IN 46802-2105 Homebound Meals, Inc. There are no age/income requirements.

(HBM) delivers nutritionally balanced meals to individuals who, because of age, illness or disability, cannot provide adequate meals for themselves. This single service allows individuals to remain independent & in their own homes longer. It also offers a short-term health-care recovery solution. In all cases, clients appreciate the short visit from one of our volunteer drivers. Family members hav

e the security of knowing their loved ones will be checked on once a day during the week. Our meals are prepared by local medical facilities under the supervision of registered dietitians. Because of this we can accommodate medical dietary restrictions. We deliver hot meals during the noon hour, Monday through Friday. Because our drivers are volunteers, the costs are very minimal.

From the National Council on Aging (NCOA)

"For more than 55 years, Mary Ann and her husband, Charles, built a life centered on caring for others.

But after Charles passed away, Mary Ann was left without the steady income she had relied on for years. It became difficult to keep up with the basics. When a neighbor checked in on her, they found that her cabinets and refrigerator were nearly empty. As Mary Ann shared, she was 'at the end of her rope.'

With support from supporters, Mary Ann was able to connect to the benefits and resources to provide some added breathing room and financial security each month."

This is what we do locally for homebound clients - we nourish 🍽️ and nurture 🧡 them. And, we need 🫵 to keep our mission moving forward.

💙✨ Gratitude in Action ✨💙

We're incredibly grateful to the Floyd and Frieda Guynn Foundation 🙏💫 for their generous support of our Meal Subsidy Program 🍽️❤️ at Homebound Meals.

Because of their investment 💡, we're able to ensure that 💲 isn't a barrier to receiving nutritious, medically tailored meals 🥗🏡. Their support directly helps homebound seniors and individuals with disabilities remain nourished, independent, and connected 🤝 in their own homes 🏚️ .

Meal subsidies are more than financial assistance—they're a lifeline 💙. They help improve food security 🛒, support health and wellness 🩺, and reduce isolation 💬 for some of our community’s most vulnerable neighbors.

Thank you, Floyd and Frieda Guynn Foundation 🙌, for partnering with us to deliver not just meals—but dignity, care, and connection across Fort Wayne 🌆❤️.

Give us a 📞 @ (260) 422-3296 if you're looking for a meaningful volunteer opportunity.
