Kudos to Allen County Assessor Stacey O’Day!

Each year, the Association of Indiana Counties (AIC) recognizes top county officials across the state of Indiana in several different categories. But the highest honor is the Arthur R. Himsel Award.

Last week, during the AIC 2025 Annual Conference, Stacey won the Himsel Award, which has been presented annually for the last 41 years to a county official who has demonstrated significant contributions to county government as well as outstanding dedication to public service.

Stacey started her career with the County Assessor's Office in 1990 and worked in various positions before being elected as County Assessor for the first time in November 2006. She is now in her fourth term. Stacey has also been named Indiana County Assessor of the Year in both 2009 and 2019.

We are lucky to work with someone who is dedicated and passionate about the work they do!
