In observance of Juneteenth, Wellspring will be closed on Friday, June 19.

Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery and serves as a time to reflect on freedom, equality, and the ongoing pursuit of justice for all.

Our normal business hours will resume on Monday. We wish everyone a meaningful and safe holiday.

Wellspring on Wheels Schedule Update! 🚚🥫🍎

We're excited to share our Wellspring on Wheels schedule for July–December 2026! Join us on select Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10:00am – 12:00pm for free food distribution.

✨ We're also excited to announce two new locations:
📍 Waynedale United Methodist Church – 3rd Tuesday of each month
📍 Fairington Apartments – 2nd Friday of each month

If you or someone you know could benefit from food assistance, we invite you to stop by any location. Together, we're helping ensure our neighbors have access to nutritious food throughout Allen County. 💜

A heartfelt thank you to St. Joseph Community Health Foundation for their generous $40,000 investment in Wellspring’s Food Assistance Programs. This program is partially supported by a grant from the St. Joseph Community Health Foundation.

Because of partners like St. Joseph Community Health Foundation, thousands of individuals and families in our community have access to nutritious food and the support they need during difficult times.

As one Wellspring volunteer shared: “When people aren’t worried about going hungry then they’ve got the energy to take care of all the daily things we all have to take care of in our lives.”

And in the words of a Wellspring client: “It means a lot because it shows you there are still people in the world who care.”

This gift is about more than food. It is about hope, dignity, and ensuring our neighbors know they are supported. Thank you, St. Joseph Community Health Foundation, for helping make a difference in the lives of so many throughout our community. 💜🍎🥫

We are incredibly grateful for the continued partnership and generosity of St. John Lutheran Church (ELCA) Fort Wayne, Indiana! 💜

Recently, Wellspring received a heartfelt letter from St. John’s Social Ministry Mission Team sharing their support through their “Mission of the Month” program which we were blessed to be part of in March.

We are also deeply grateful for the many ways this partnership continues to grow and make an impact. From prayers and encouragement 🙏, to food drives 🍲, to financial support 💲, to sponsoring children for a week at Camp Lutherwald 😎, to hosting Summer Day Camp sites 🔆, and even gathering together for an Ice Cream Social to celebrate the end of camp 🍦... St. John Lutheran Church continues to show up in meaningful and consistent ways.

Together, these efforts are making a real difference for children and families in our community!
