The parking lot near the playground and Pavilion #2 in Franke Park will close temporarily on Tuesday for striping. Once dry, it will be reopened.

Wayne Parks and Recreation is offering a no-reserve online auction of surplus turf and fleet equipment through Purple Wave Auction .

The lineup includes Toro and Ransomes reel mowers, a John Deere 3225C reel mower, a John Deere 401B tractor, a Toro Groundsmaster, Ford F150 pickups, and more out of Fort Wayne, IN.

The Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation offices will be closed on Friday, June 19 in celebration of Juneteenth. Offices will resume regular business hours on Monday, June 22.
