Earlier this week, our teen group had the opportunity to visit Good Bread for All for a special Q***r & Career Outing! Co-owner Sarah Thompson welcomed our teens into the shop to share her journey as both a successful local business owner and a Q***r person living and working here in Fort Wayne.

The teens got to explore all angles of the business, hear about Sarah’s life and work, learn about the importance of mutual aid in our communities, and of course, leave with some delicious treats. πŸ˜‹

Thank you to Sarah and the Good Bread for All team for creating such a safe, affirming, and welcoming space.

A special thank you to The Space Salon for offering free, affirming haircuts to our teen group at the end of last month. πŸ’œ It meant so much to see these teens supported and excited to express themselves.

We also want to thank the Fort Wayne Pride Center for their continued partnership, sharing their space.

We are so deeply grateful to be part of a community that continues to show up for LGBTQ+ youth. 🌈

Today is National Thank a Youth Worker Day, and we are so grateful for our Prevention and Youth Services staff πŸ’›

Every day you show up with care, creativity, and consistency for young people across our community. You model healthy relationships and accountability. Together, we are helping grow a future rooted in consent culture and community care. 🌱

We also want to lift up the amazing teachers, counselors, and youth service partners we get to work alongside. Your care and collaboration strengthen this work in so many ways πŸ™Œ

We appreciate you today and always!
