These roles may not always be the most visible, but they play an important part in local organizing, voter engagement, party direction, convention representation, and ensuring communities are represented in political spaces where decisions are being made.

The INLDC 3rd District is proud to see Latino leadership continuing to grow in Northeast Indiana. Representation matters at every level, especially in local politics.

Congratulations to Jorge Fernandez on winning the Democratic primary for Allen County Commissioner, District 3. 🎉

Commissioners help make decisions on county budgets, roads and infrastructure, public safety funding, development projects, county departments, and how resources are prioritized throughout the community. These decisions directly affect everyday life in Allen County.

Seeing Latino voices continue to step into leadership here in Northeast Indiana is powerful. This is what happens when people organize, show up, and vote in the primaries.

Earlier this week I had the chance to thank many of you in person, but I want to say it again. Thank you. Earning over 4,000 votes is something I do not take lightly.
