At LSSI, Balance Works provides professional counseling services to support individuals, couples, and families through life’s challenges.
If you or someone you love could benefit from therapy, help is available. Call 260-426-3347 to take the first step.

Safety Notice: We have been notified that a smoke detector model distributed through our Gear-Up for Safety Program may now be subject to manufacturer or safety recalls.

Although not all models distributed by LSSI are subject to this recall, if you received a smoke detector through our program, we strongly encourage you to take the following steps:

🛑 Check current recall information by visiting the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) at www.cpsc.gov/recalls, or the smoke detector manufacturer’s website.

🛑 Compare the model number and manufacture date (usually found on the back or inside the alarm) with the recall information.

🛑 If your smoke detector is affected by a recall, follow the manufacturer’s instructions, which may include stopping use, replacement, or repair.

🛑 If you are unsure whether a smoke detector is affected, you may consider replacing it with a new, properly functioning device that meets current safety standards.

We strongly encourage all program participants and community members to properly register your safety products to ensure you receive important recall notifications.

LSSI has stopped distributing the recalled products.
