During Mental Health Awareness Month, all of us at Hope Alive want to remind you that your mental health matters deeply. In a world that constantly tells people to “push through” and keep going no matter how heavy life feels, we want you to know that it is okay to slow down, ask for help, rest, heal, and take care of yourself!
Loving Jesus and caring for your mental health can exist together beautifully. You can have strong faith and still struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, exhaustion, or emotional pain. God is not disappointed in you for needing support. He sees every hidden hurt, every silent battle, and every weary part of your heart with compassion and love.
Sometimes healing looks like prayer, sometimes it looks like counseling, sometimes it looks like community, and often it looks like all of those things together.
You were never meant to carry life alone, and there is strength in reaching out and allowing others to walk beside you. This month and every month, we pray you give yourself the same grace, patience, and kindness that God so freely gives to you.
