The Allen County Building Department Office will be closed to the public until at least January 18th due to the Covid 19 Pandemic. Permits are still required and can be applied for online by LICENSED contractors only at https://citizenaccess.acfw.net/citizenaccess/. Inspections will continue, please visit https://www.allencounty.us/building-department for direct contact information, homeowner info, and inspection procedures.

Citizens Square and the Allen County Building Department opening to the public on Monday, May 18th we are establishing some new, temporary policies to comply with Gov. Holcomb’s order as well as keeping operations safe for our staff and the public.
These are subject to change as things continue to be fluid:

1.We will be closed from 12:00pm to 1:00pm Monday - Friday for cleaning and sanitation.

2.There will be a maximum occupancy posted for our lobby.

3.There will be a 3 permit limit per visit.

4.We ask that all contractors continue to use the online permitting process if possible.
