We are honored to announce that Peach County EMS has been recognized with the Mission: Lifeline® Silver EMS Achievement Award, advancing from the Bronze level recognition we received last year.
This achievement reflects our continued commitment to improving the care we provide to patients experiencing life-threatening cardiac emergencies.
The Mission: Lifeline program, established by the American Heart Association, recognizes EMS agencies that consistently follow evidence-based guidelines to ensure heart attack patients receive timely diagnosis, treatment, and transport to the most appropriate facility.
🥉 Bronze Recognition acknowledges agencies that have successfully implemented Mission: Lifeline quality improvement measures and demonstrated adherence to key performance metrics.
🥈 Silver Recognition is awarded to agencies that not only maintain those high standards but demonstrate sustained excellence and continued performance over time. It signifies a higher level of consistency in delivering guideline-driven care that improves patient outcomes.
Moving from Bronze to Silver is a testament to the dedication of our EMTs, Advanced EMTs, Paramedics, dispatchers, quality improvement staff, hospital partners, and Medical Director. Their commitment to clinical excellence ensures that the citizens and visitors of Peach County receive the highest quality emergency cardiac care when every second counts.
While we're proud of this accomplishment, our work doesn't stop here. We remain committed to continuous improvement and to providing the best possible care to our community, and our next stop is Gold, which recognizes two consecutive years of consistent excellence in the areas of cardiac and stroke care.
Thank you to our entire team for making this achievement possible and to the community for trusting us when you need us most.
