Help Us Plan for the 2026-2027 School Year!🚌🚌

Peach County Schools is currently collecting transportation information to help us develop bus routes and ensure transportation services are in place BEFORE the first day of school.

If you have not already done so, please complete our Transportation Survey for each student in your household, even if your child will not ride a school bus. Accurate information helps us create more efficient routes, reduce unnecessary stops, and ensure every student who needs transportation is assigned to the correct route.

Over 1,290 families have already responded. If we do not receive transportation information, school staff may contact families by phone to gather the information needed for planning. Completing the survey now can help eliminate the need for a follow-up call.

It's time to Stuff the Bus once again! 🚌🚌

Since launching this initiative in 2022, the Peach County Health Department has remained committed to ensuring that Peach County students and teachers have the supplies and resources they need to begin the school year successfully. Thanks to the generosity of the community, they have supported more than 300 students and teachers each year.
This year, Peach County Schools will generously provide a school bus that will be parked at the Peach County Health Department from Monday, June 29, through Friday, July 10, 2026. They will begin accepting school supply donations from community members, partners, and sponsors Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We invite you to stop by, donate, and take a photo with the bus as we work together to support our local students and educators.
In addition, students and families are invited to attend the Back-to-School Bash on Friday, July 10, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. During this event, students can receive required immunizations (Form 3231), as well as hearing, vision, and dental screenings (Form 3300) at no cost to help prepare for the upcoming school year.

This designation honors schools that outperform similar schools across Georgia and exceed expected levels of student achievement and growth.

Save the Date for Trojan Fest!!!

We are excited to announce the 4th Annual Trojan Fest will take place on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Peach County High School. This event provides a wonderful opportunity for Peach County students and families to receive free school supplies, gather important school information, and connect with valuable community resources before the start of the new school year.

Trojan Fest will take place at PCHS from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM and will include a variety of fun, family-friendly activities such as games, free haircuts, and opportunities to meet and take photos with Peach County High School athletes.

We would love for your business or organization to partner with us by participating in this year’s event. Community support plays a major role in helping our students and families start the school year prepared, connected, and encouraged. Partners are invited to host a table, share resources, distribute supplies, or simply help engage with families throughout the event.

Trojan Fest continues to be a meaningful way to strengthen the connection between our schools, local businesses, and the Peach County community while investing in the success and well-being of our students and families.

House Bill 251(HB 251) Information

House Bill 251 (HB 251) allows parents to request a transfer for their child to a school outside of their attendance zone based on available space. School districts determine available classroom space after all zoned students have been enrolled.
***Please note that, by law, parents who transfer a student under HB 251 are responsible for all transportation to and from school. Transportation will not be provided by the Peach County School System.

Elementary and middle school classroom space is grade-specific, and the availability of slots will not be finalized until the tenth day of school. All students will begin the school year at their zoned school. This timeline allows for more accurate enrollment numbers based on new students zoned for the school.

All students will begin at their zoned school and, if approved under HB 251, will be eligible to transfer upon notification of approval.

When completing the application, please ensure you enter a valid email address. Approval and denial notifications will be sent by email. Applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis, and families will be notified of their status by mid-August.

For the 2026-2027 school year, several schools are operating near capacity. While all applications will be considered, space limitations may prevent some requests from being approved. Families interested in a transfer are encouraged to apply as early as possible but should plan for their child to attend their zoned school unless and until a transfer is approved.

Applications will be accepted from June 1, 2026 through June 18, 2026.
