Hey Middle Georgia! It's that time of year again! Join the ladies of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Delta Pi Sigma Chapter for our annual SWIM1922 Water Safety Clinic.

We're hosting two events: Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Middle Georgia State University Wellness Center for adults 18 and older, and Sunday, June 14, 2026, at South Bibb Recreational Center for youth ages 8-17. Both events run from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

PHILO SPOTLIGHT

Philo Natilyne Alise VanEllison is a young woman with autism and a proud member of Delta Pi Sigma Philo Affiliate. She became a member of the affiliate on November 20, 2021. Philo Natilyne graduated from Jenkins High School. After completing the Project Search Program for Chatham County Public Schools, she enrolled in Savannah Technical College. Philo Natilyne was in the Culinary Arts Program. She completed her Safety and Sanitation Class and passed her Food Handling ServSafe exam. This was a wonderful experience for her. She's an active young lady in the organization and the community. Her contributions have earned recognition and awards for dedicated participation and service. Activities like Ambuc Bowling, Savannah Pops Tennis, volunteering at P.A.C.K.( People in Action Caring for Kids) weekly, and serving as a Greeter at her church, keeps her active and involved in the community. Philo Natilyne’s a Prep Cook at a What's For Dinner?. She defied all odds, overcame various obstacles, and made lasting impacts in her community and family. We salute our sister Philo Natilyne VanEllison.

Delta Pi Sigma Philo Affiliate assisted Nu Xi Sigma of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, INC with their Youth Symposium. We also talk with some ladies that are interested in what we do as Phriends to the Sigma ladies.
