You will probably see this post often...PLEASE MICROCHIP your dogs....we implore you. On the local "missing pets" pages there are too many dogs that may never find their way home or may even be put down because their owner can't be found. Keep your pets safe:)

Every once in awhile it's time to remind everyone....MICROCHIP YOUR PETS!!! It is neither cost nor time prohibitive for most, and it WILL make a big difference in securing your pet's safe return. And remember...its for cats too! Even indoor cats get loose!! I personally kept a declawed cat that i found for three weeks before i found her owner by chance. We love them too much to risk it. Dont put it off any longer!! And if you do find a stray, simply take it to a vet to get it scanned for a chip. Some Petsmart locations can scan too. If u decide to do this, please share it here so we can encourage this practice. Bring our pets home!! :)

It is with a very heavy heart that we say goodbye to our friend Bentley. She was well-loved and will be terribly missed. Bentley passed away on February 3; she was suffering from a brain tumor. We love our dogs as family, and send our love to Bentley's. Please keep them in your thoughts as they grieve.

Please share this little guy with anyone responsible looking to adopt. He really stuck out as a friendly, well-behaved little man. His name is Copper-a 9 month-old Cairn Terrier mix, neutered and chipped. I couldnt believe he didnt have a home. Hes at Rosas Rescue and would make an amazing companion.

Thanks to all who attended today's DP Halloween party. It was fun and hilarious as always so pictures to come!!! Congrats to our costume winner, Carla Austin's Oliver as Miss Piggy.
