Want to learn more about Skillathon? Come to theTexas Sheep and Goat Expo Youth Program August 16th in San Angelo! This is a great opportunity to practice Skillathon skills and learn from industry experts!

In April we'll be hosting a carcass ultrasound school here in San Angelo where attendees will learn how to scan live sheep and goats for carcass traits. This is a a great skill to make more informed genetic selection decisions if these traits are a priority in your flocks and herds. Additionally, attendees will have the chance to complete the necessary certification to provide scanning services for the National Sheep Improvement Program. This will be a hands-on course with all equipment provided, but attendees would be encouraged to bring their own units if they have them.
