The following Hammer Company leaders put it all on the line while they trained and tested for the Expert Infantryman and Soldier Badge through the month of January. They spent two weeks training and memorizing 30 tasks that covered weapons, patrolling, and medical tasks. They also trained on day and night land navigation. With little to no sleep they moved into testing week which day 1 they had to complete a physical fitness test at 0300 in the morning and day/ night land nav where they didn’t finish until early morning hours. Then moving into day two with no sleep they tested their memeory and skills on 10 different weapons. On day three they were tested on medical expertise on 10 different tasks. During day four they tested on patrolling tasks. Finally, on day five they started a 12 mile foot March carrying 35lbs of equipment at 0400 in the morning and had to be finished within 3 hours, only to complete one more task from memory. Congratulations to these Hammer experts, we are so proud of all of you!!!

Here at Hammer Co🔨, we closed out the year with a party!!🥳🥳🎄

At the party, the Soldiers of Hammer Co competed on a Christmas Decoration contest that brought our different sections together, strengthened our bonds and increased the Sprit de Corps within our formation. Although every single section had wonderful and creative decorations, the S-6 🥇shop won first place! Congrats to them and their well-deserved reward. 🏆

It was a busy year. Throughout 2022, Hammer Co deployed to Germany🌎in support of Operation European Assure, Deter and Reinforce; came back, went on leave, and got ready for modernization next year. Now, as the year comes to an end, Hammer Co is going on leave to rest, and spend time with loved ones. Happy Holidays from the Hammer Family!🎄🎊

A bittersweet week for the Hammer Company. We bid farewell to a leader, mentor, and friend, CPT Matthew Hoffman👨🏻‍🦰

He has been with the company for the past 13 months and we have all learned to enjoy his charismatic presence in the Company🔥

We wish him, his wife Hannah, and baby William 👨‍👩‍👦the best of luck as they start a new chapter of their lives in the 188th Infantry Brigade.

The sun sets on “closed phase” training as they start their “open phased” training of . The closed phase serves as the opportunity for all participants to test their interoperability through realistic-based events.

The open phase will validate tactics, techniques, and procedural integration while the observers will have a more hands-off approach, allowing for more realistic combat simulations.

Combined Resolve is a U.S. Army exercise consisting of 5,600 service members, Allies, and partners from more than 10 countries, and is designed to assess units' abilities to conduct combat operations effectively in a multi-domain battle space.
