Please join us in welcoming Chris Boyd Sr. to the Fort Smith Public Schools Police Department as our newest Auxiliary Law Enforcement Officer.

Officer Boyd brings 49 years of law enforcement experience serving our community and the State of Arkansas. His knowledge, professionalism, and dedication to service make him an incredible addition to our mission of Protecting Our Future.

An auxiliary law enforcement officer is a fully sworn officer who volunteers their time to support the department. These officers hold the same powers of enforcement but serve in a supporting capacity, allowing our full-time officers to stay focused on school safety, response, and student engagement.
