Fort Smith Firefighter's Association Fort Smith Firefighter's Association is a group of Fort Smith firemen who are dedicated to assisting our community area with charitable donations.

Our big event is our "Shop with a Mission" Christmas project, where we take anywhere from 50-100 children and buy them Christmas. We have been doing this every year since we began the association in 2005. We have spent over $100,000 just on this project and a lot of the money came out of the pockets of the members.

Thanks to the members,Walmart on Zero,Lumber One, Fort Smith EMS,and some private donations, we had another great “Shop with a Mission” Christmas project this year. Each child got to spend $100 dollars as their Christmas present from us today !!!

We would like to congratulate Chief Chris Scherff on his retirement after 32 years of service to our community!! Chris was one of the most dedicated person to his job I've seen. Prayers for you and your family Chris as you enter your retirement.

The Association would like to thank Darrell Clark, the Union president for all the hard work he has done for the Firefighters. Because of his hard work a lot of the men who were quiet behind in their step raises received a step this year and he has also worked hard on our BP 2 plan. Thanks again Darrell!!!!
