Good evening Vanguard family!

Today we closed out the week by recognizing excellence!

We first recognized PFC Vielguth for being named Soldier of the Month in the Fighting Aces Battalion!

Next we recognized the following soldiers below for displaying superior fitness on the Army Fitness Test.

-SGT Castellon scored a perfect 500 and set a new battery record on the 2-mile run of 11 minutes, 55 seconds (11:55).

-PFC Vielguth scored a 496 out of 500.

-SGT Amicay scored a 487 out of 500.

-1LT Pasamonte scored a 485 out of 500.

-2LT Patel scored a 485 out of 500.

-1LT Fisher scored a perfect 500.

Good morning, Vanguard Family,

Last week we bid farewell to CPL Vinh Pham as he continues his military career at Fort Bragg, NC.

CPL Pham has been a cornerstone of this Battery, truly exemplifying the qualities of a subject matter expert—both as a crew member and as a junior NCO. His professionalism, dedication, and leadership have left a lasting impact on the team.

We wish CPL Pham continued success at his next unit. Count to six and keep those feet and knees together, CPL Pham! We look forward to congratulating you when you earn your jump wings.

Good afternoon, Vanguard Family!

This past week, Vanguard sharpened its combat edge by successfully engaging and destroying 4x Outlaw drones during a live-fire exercise.

These accomplishments reflect the hard work, skill, and dedication of our Soldiers as we continue to increase the unit’s overall lethality.

As we near the end of this year’s training progression, we are preparing to enter our culminating exercise, which will test everything the team has built and refined over the past months.

Stay tuned for the official dates, which will be released once approved by the Vanguard and Fighting Aces command teams.

Good afternoon Vanguard family!

Over the past week Able Battery has faced extreme temperatures as we trained our ability to protect critical mission task(s) required of a Armored Brigade Combat Team.

We finally ended the week pushing very late into Thursday night with night drivers training.

Our posts have slowed down only due to our focus on training ramping up.

Good morning Vanguard family and Happy Birthday to the greatest fighting force in the world! The United States Army!

To kick off weekend festivities we had SSG Segura’s dinner send off as he starts his PCS transition back to Fort Bragg, NC.

If you know SSG Segura then you know he has been a pillar in not only this Battery but in the Battalion as well. We all wish him the best on his travels and we know he is looking forward to jumping out of some more planes!

Good afternoon Vanguard Family!

This past week Able Battery was able to decompress from the high operational tempo we have pushed through the last couple of months.

Our decompression window included bowling, a Battalion Org day where Vanguard took 1st place in ultimate football, and a Hail and Farewell where we welcomed in and said goodbye to some outstanding leaders.

Finally, we said goodbye to CPL Cohn and wish him the best of luck as he heads out to Korea!

All gave some, some gave all. Please take time to remember our fallen heroes today.

Drone Hunters ⚔️

During Live Fire Exercise 1 (LFX) multiple crews successfully engaged and neutralized unmanned aerial systems (UAS), establishing a new standard for Crew-Level Gunnery.

Our Sensor crews successfully march-ordered, emplaced, and established air picture within 16 minutes far exceeding the current standard.

Forging lethality through repetition.

We continue to press our lethality and tactical proficiency as we move closer to October.
