📞💙 National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week Appreciation 💙📞

Today, Chief Kevin Collins and Detective Sergeant Davenport had the pleasure of stopping by the Montgomery County 911 Dispatch Center to deliver some well-deserved milk and cookies as a small token of appreciation.

During National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, we recognize the incredible men and women behind the scenes who answer the call—day and night—providing calm, professionalism, and critical support during emergencies. They are truly the first, first responders.

Your dedication, quick thinking, and unwavering commitment to public safety do not go unnoticed. The Village of Fort Plain Police Department is proud to work alongside such an outstanding group of professionals.

Snow is on the way! The Village of Fort Plain Police Department reminds everyone to please use extra caution when traveling during winter weather.

🚗 Drive safely and allow extra time to reach your destination.
🚫 Please help our DPW crews by keeping vehicles off village streets during snow removal operations.
🕑 Reminder: There is NO overnight parking on village streets. Vehicles left on the roadway may be ticketed and/or towed to allow plows to safely clear the roads.

Your cooperation helps keep our streets clear, safe, and passable for emergency vehicles and snowplows.
