⚡ Did you know next week is Public Power Week? ⚡

From October 4–10, communities across the country recognize public power: municipal electric utilities owned and operated by the people they serve.

Here in South Dakota, 35 cities run their own municipal electric system. Public power means local control and reliable, affordable electricity for the community.

If your community is one of them, take a moment next week to thank the people at your hometown electric municipal utility! 🙌

Your community. Your utility. Your power.
