👻 Question of the Day: Do you have a business or organization interested in participating in our 1st Trunk or Treat on Sunday, October 25? 🍬

Did you know that every time you interact with our posts, it creates a donation directly to the SD Rodeo Center?!

While we don’t have a dollar amount of what it will cost to fix this issue, we do have a tentative plan in place and know the price tag is going to be beyond our budget.

For now, if you could just interact with our posts, it truly helps more than you know!

To clarify- the Casey Tibbs SD Rodeo Center is not going anywhere. 🤠 The hill to the South is just going to look quite a bit different in the future!

To make the National Finals Rodeo once is an accomplishment, to make the National Finals Rodeo twice is an achievement, to make the National Finals Rodeo in consecutive years is a testament to your ability as a horsewoman and toughness as a competitor. Lisa Lockhart just qualified for her 20th consecutive...YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT...20th consecutive National Finals Rodeo!

Lisa Lockhart officially holds the WPRA record for most National Finals Rodeo qualifications, passing legendary barrel racers Charmayne James and Sherry Cervi. She qualified for her first NFR in 2007 and has been to every single Finals since that year. 2026 will be Lisa's 20th consecutive qualification - a record breaking achievement for a very talented cowgirl. Congratulations, Lisa!

🎞️ FROM THE ARCHIVES — PT. 7🤠

Another week, another South Dakota rodeo mystery for you to help us solve!

Today’s footage features some roping and saddle bronc action from a rodeo in South Dakota.

What we know based on the reel case label, but we all know how cases get mixed up over time.
🌟Year: 1954
🌟Location: Wasta. Can anyone confirm?
🌟Riders & Stock: Unknown

We’ve got some cowboys and a good look at the stock in this clip — but unfortunately, we don’t know who they are AND have a location to confirm!

That’s where YOU come in. 🔎

👀 Watch closely, do you recognize a rider, the arena, the stock, or anything else that might give us a clue?👀

Drop names, locations, memories, or even your best guesses in the comments! Better yet, tag someone who might recognize a face or two. 👇

Every clue helps us put names and stories back to these pieces of South Dakota rodeo history. Who do you recognize?
